French Toast

Making breakfast or brunch is a great way to start a lazy day.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6
6 POM White pitas
3 eggs
2/3 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
maple syrup

1. In a small pie plate, beat eggs and milk.
2. Poke holes in pitas with a fork to let liquid soak in. Dip pitas into egg mixture letting it soak about 5 minutes.
3. In large frying pan, melt butter on medium heat. Pan-fry pitas in hot butter until golden on both sides.
4. Serve hot with syrup.
TIPS
1. A sprinkling of cinnamon-sugar or icing sugar also makes a nice topping.
2. Add diced apples and cinnamon to taste.
